Bright Invention uses improvisation to empower individuals and organizations to unlock their potential.
Formerly White Pines Productions, Inc.
Bright Invention is a longform improvisation ensemble that specializes in "immersive improv", softening the boundary between audience and actor. For our audiences, Bright Invention extends the gift of personalized improvised performance which, in the best moments, feels scripted and leaves audiences stunned, moved to tears and laughter, and unified in their humanity. We believe that (y)our stories, relationships, and personal truths are connective tissues that, when crafted and shared, bring seemingly disparate people together. Our shows are sweet, sad, funny, wistful - every color in the rainbow!

“The lightbulb went off for me about half-way through my first Improv session with Benjamin Lloyd. I wanted to become more ‘comfortable with the uncomfortable’ that coincides with my fast-paced day job. I work in an industry that requires agility, resilience and quick thinking. Improv offered a different set of tools to tackle these issues quickly and effectively far and apart from my years of experience and conventional training. I wanted to immediately share this experience with my colleagues!” - April Cohen, adult student and CCT client.
